Excellent Craftsmanship

Watch box

Just two things- the copper plate is very dark. I know it was stained, but you can’t read the name. Also the ring closure is so pitted it looks cheap and rusted rather than antiqued. The box itself and pillows are beautiful. I just think a nicer choice in hardware would elevate the whole piece.
